- The proposed development shall have a Category C buffer requirement along all
property lines bordered by the RMF2 and SFR2 zoning districts. The 3 options
under Category C are:
1) 20 feet with a certain amount of canopy trees, understory trees, and shrubs
/ ornamental grasses per 100 linear feet
2) 10 feet with a certain amount of shrubs / ornamental grasses per 100 linear
feet and a wood fence or masonry wall
3) 30 feet undisturbed natural buffer.
- Attitude of Property Owners
- Twenty-four (24) property owners within 300 feet were notified of the rezoning
request. The Planning Department has one email in favor of the request and one
email in opposition to the request. Furthermore, staff has received a petition
with 16 signatures in opposition to the request.

- The applicant is requesting to rezone this property to allow a meeting facility
for club/lodge members as well as have an office for the non-profit foundation
that oversees the scholarship fund.
