A Resolution Authorizing AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO APPROVE AND ACCEPT THE DONATION OF A $50.00 GIFT CARD \n \n FROM PUBLIX FOR THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT THERAPEUTIC DIVISION. whereas, Publix has donated a gift card in the amount of $50.00 to the Therapeutic \n \n Recreation Division to be used for food and grocery items for programming.
whereas, this gift card will be used for items needed for programs within the \n \n Therapeutic Recreation Division at the discretion of the Therapeutic Supervisor \n \n and Parks and Recreation Department. \n \n
WHEREAS, this has been donated and there will be no cost to the City; \n \n and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to accept a \n \n gift card in the amount of $50.00 donated to Therapeutic Recreation.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the _________ day of _____________ and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of _____________ members of said Council.
