A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A PROJECT FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT WITH THE GEORGIA \n \n DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE NEW INFANTRY ROAD AND EXTENSION OF THE \n \n FOLLOW ME TRAIL. whereas, the Georgia Department of Transportation has authorized State Z230 funding for \n \n the new Infantry Road & Extension of the Follow Me Trail project in the amount \n \n of $1,200,000.00 (80%), which requires a local match of twenty (20) percent; \n \n and,
whereas, the local match of $300,000.00 has been identified in the Capital Improvement \n \n Program, TSPLOST Discretionary Funds - Resolution #283-16.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contractual \n \n agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation for the new Infantry \n \n Road and the extension of the Follow Me Trail project in the amount of \n \n $1,500,000.00 and will be funded through the use of State Z230 Transportation \n \n Funds ($1,200,000.00 - 80%), which requires a 20 percent match ($300,000.00). A \n \n 20% local match has been identified in the Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
