A Resolution Authorizing THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO THAT PORTION OF FREEDOM RIDGE DRIVE, THAT PORTION \n \n OF PARAPET DRIVE, THAT PORTION OF MAGAZINE LANE, AND THAT PORTION OF LEGION \n \n DRIVE LOCATED IN SECTION TWO LEXINGTON HILLS ON BEHALF OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA. whereas, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed conveying that portion of \n \n Freedom Ridge Drive, that portion of Parapet Drive, that portion of Magazine \n \n Lane, and that portion of Legion Drive located in Section Two Lexington Hills, \n \n a full description of said property shown on said deed; and,
whereas, said streets have been improved and meet the required specifications for \n \n acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has inspected said streets and recommends \n \n acceptance of same.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That certain deed dated November 28, 2006, conveying to Columbus, \n \n Georgia that portion of Freedom Ridge Drive, that portion of Parapet Drive, \n \n that portion of Magazine Lane, and that portion of Legion Drive located in \n \n Section Two Lexington Hills be and the same is hereby accepted. The Clerk of \n \n Council is hereby authorized to have said deed recorded in the Deed Records in \n \n the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia. A copy \n \n of deed is hereto attached and by this reference made a part of this \n \n resolution.
