A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY TO ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF A FITNESS PARK DONATED BY TOGETHER \n \n 2017 TO BE PLACED AT ROTARY PARK. whereas, Together 2017 is a campaign where our region?s business and community leaders \n \n do what they do best; partner together, combine energy with resources, invest \n \n in our community and promote our community?s brand and quality of life. \n \n Together 2017 uses funds to support community projects that make our region a \n \n better place to live and work. Project ideas are contributed by the public, by \n \n Together 2017 partners and their next Generation representatives.
whereas, , This year, Together 2017 has collaborated with the Parks and Recreation \n \n Department for a project and will be donating a Fitness Park to Rotary Park. \n \n This Fitness Park is valued at $73.650.00.
WHEREAS, Together 2017 will donate this Fitness Park known as Fitness \n \n Together @ Rotary Park and will be of no cost to the City; and \n \n
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to accept this \n \n Fitness Park from Together 2017 to be placed at Rotary Park. \n \n - - - - - - - \n \n
