A Resolution Authorizing A VARIANCE TO THE CITY SECTION 7.10.1 FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF 6970 JAMESSON WAY, \n \n FULLER FIRE & SAFETY; ALLOWING THE SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION TO BE DELAYED UNTIL \n \n SUCH TIME CONNECTING SIDEWALK IS INSTALLED ON OTHER STREETS IN THE AREA._ whereas, construction plans were submitted for approval for the construction of the \n \n aforementioned business, and,
whereas, the other roads in the area are rural design roads with no curb and gutter and \n \n were exempt from sidewalk construction as outlined in Section 7.10.1.B.1 , and,
WHEREAS, the owner of the business has requested that sidewalk construction be \n \n delayed until such time sidewalk is installed in the area,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That a variance be granted to City Code Section 7.10.1 for the \n \n construction of sidewalks, to allow the installation of sidewalks for this \n \n development to be postponed until the development of the sidewalks in the area \n \n are installed.
