A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH NORTHFOLK SOUTHERN RAILWAY \n \n COMPANY FOR PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING SERVICES whereas, the city under the Transportation Investment Act is currently developing \n \n engineering plans for the construction of an overhead bridge across the Norfolk \n \n Southern railroad at Buena Vista Road; and,
whereas, the development of these engineering plans requires coordination with Norfolk \n \n Southern to insure the project is completed in a timely fashion;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the \n \n Norfolk Southern Railway Company for the purpose of providing preliminary \n \n engineering for the development of a overhead bridge at Buena Vista Road, at a \n \n cost not to exceed $23,032.00. Funds are available under \n \n 0510-660-7000-60004-20150, Buena Vista Road Improvements.
