A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE LOCAL MAINTENANCE & IMPROVEMENT GRANT (LMIG) \n \n WITH THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (GDOT) FOR RIVER ROAD/BRADLEY \n \n PARK DRIVE INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. whereas, the City is proposing a Roundabout at the intersection of River Road/Bradley \n \n Park Drive and Council identified this project as the one to be submitted to \n \n GDOT for FY15 LMIG funding,
whereas, it is necessary to execute the attached LMIG agreement (becoming part of this \n \n Resolution ) to the GDOT; and,
WHEREAS, the GDOT is paying approximately $1.5 million toward this project \n \n estimated at $2.3 million, the balance to be paid by the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the Local \n \n Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) with the Georgia Department of \n \n Transportation (GDOT) for River Road /Bradley Park Drive Intersection \n \n Improvements Project.
