A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE GEORGIA POWER COMPANY TO \n \n LEASE THE PROPERTY AT 3321 BUENA VISTA ROAD FOR $10.00 FOR A PERIOD OF NINE (9) \n \n MONTHS. whereas, the City owns the property located at 3321 Buena Vista Road; and,
whereas, Georgia Power is in process of updating the power substation at 3343 Buena \n \n Vista Road, which is immediately adjacent to the property owned by the city; \n \n and, \n \n WHEREAS, Georgia Power is in need of a laydown area to store their equipment \n \n and materials while work is being performed on improvements to the substation; \n \n

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a lease agreement with \n \n the Georgia Power Company for an amount of $10.00 for a period not to exceed \n \n nine (9) months.
