A Resolution Authorizing TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION, AND IF AWARDED, ACCEPT ADDITIONAL FUNDING TO THE \n \n COUNCIL OF JUVENILE COURT JUDGES WITH NO LOCAL MATCH REQUIREMENT OF $5,000, AND \n \n TO AMEND THE MULTI-GOVERNMENTAL FUND BY THE APPLICABLE AMOUNT. whereas, additional funds have been made available from the Office of the Council of \n \n Juvenile Court Judges, for improving the juvenile justice system and providing \n \n services for juvenile offenders; and,
whereas, Columbus is eligible for an additional $5,000; and,
WHEREAS, the grant period runs from October 1, 2006 to September 30, 2007.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to submit and if approved accept \n \n additional funds from the Council of Juvenile Judges of Georgia for $5,000 to \n \n fund the Columbus/Muscogee County Juvenile Court Purchase of Services for \n \n Juvenile Offenders Program, and to amend the Multi-Governmental Fund by the \n \n amount of the additional funds awarded.
