A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH WOLVERTON AND ASSOCIATES FOR \n \n PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT AND REDESIGN OF THE BUENA VISTA \n \n ROAD SPIDERWEB whereas, the citizens of Columbus approved the redevelopment and redesign of the \n \n Buena Vista Road Spiderweb area under the 2012 Transportation Investment Act \n \n (TIA), which established funding for engineering design and construction; and,
whereas, to facilitate this project, professional engineering services for the \n \n preliminary design are required,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement for \n \n preliminary engineering services with Wolverton and Associates for the \n \n redevelopment and redesign of the Buena Vista Road Spiderweb. These services \n \n shall be paid for under this TIA supported project.
