A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA TO SIGN A SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR THE \n \n WYNNTON ROAD MASTER PLAN - PHASE I PROJECT WITH THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF \n \n TRANSPORTATION whereas, the Columbus Consolidated Government was awarded in 2008 a Transportation \n \n Enhancement grant for the Wynnton Road Master Plan - Phase I project, to \n \n provide for streetscape improvements along this roadway; and,
whereas, the original agreement for this project has a completion date of no later than \n \n December 31, 2018; and, \n \n WHEREAS, to insure that the funding for this project will be maintained in the \n \n event this project cannot be competed by this date, the Georgia Department of \n \n Transportation has requested that a supplemental agreement with a new \n \n completion date of December 31, 2019 be agreed to by the city.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign a supplemental agreement for the \n \n Wynnton Road Master Plan - Phase I to extend the completion date of this \n \n project to December 31, 2019.
