A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY TO APPROVE AND ACCEPT THE DONATION OF $25,000 FROM AN ANONYMOUS DONOR \n \n TO BE USED TOWARDS SUPPLIES AND ITEMS NEEDED AT COOPER CREEK TENNIS CENTER. \n \n whereas, , A citizen has donated $25,000 to Cooper Creek Tennis Center to be used for \n \n items, supplies or equipment needed at the Tennis Center. The donor has \n \n requested that there is no public attention to their name so they will remain \n \n anonymous at this time. \n \n
whereas, , the anonymous donor has expressed a desire to have this money used towards \n \n needs for the betterment of the Tennis Center at the discretion of the Tennis \n \n Supervisor and Parks and Recreation Department \n \n
WHEREAS, the citizen has donated this money and will be of no cost to \n \n the City; and \n \n
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to accept $25,000 \n \n donated by an anonymous donor for use at Cooper Creek Tennis Center.
