A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO TIMOTHY \n \n POTTER AND TAMITHA MOORE FOR A PORTION OF THE EXISTING STORM EASEMENT AS SHOWN \n \n LOCATED AT 7108 SPRING WALK DRIVE ON THE PLAT ENTITLED LOT 37 RIEGEL POINTE \n \n (7108 SPRING WALK DRIVE) EXHIBIT "B" AND DESCRIBED ON LEGAL DESCRIPTION EXHIBIT \n \n "A" LOCATED IN RIEGEL POINTE, PHASE ONE, LYING IN LAND LOT 82, 8TH DISTRICT. whereas, a fifteen (15) foot wide section along the western side of the existing \n \n twenty-five (25) foot storm easement of Lot 37, Block "A" Riegel Pointe, Phase \n \n One Subdivision (7108 Spring Walk Drive) was requested to be abandon in order \n \n to construct a swimming pool and concrete surround; and,
whereas, the aforementioned portion of the existing storm easement is not in use and is \n \n not needed for present or future use; and,
WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia has no other use for the aforementioned portion of \n \n the existing storm easement. The remainder of the storm easement of record \n \n located on Lot 37, Block "A" Riegel Pointe, Phase One Subdivision remains in \n \n effect and provides appropriate width as required, repealing any conflicting \n \n ordinances, and for other purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That, the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a quit claim \n \n deed to Timothy Potter and Tamitha Moore for a fifteen (15) foot wide section \n \n along the western side of the existing twenty-five (25) foot storm easement of \n \n Lot 37, Block "A" Riegel Pointe, Phase One Subdivision (7108 Spring Walk Drive) \n \n in order to construct a swimming pool and concrete surround.
