A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR THE WESTERN ONE-HALF (1/2) \n \n ABANDONED ROAD BED (FKA FLAT ROCK ROAD), AT THE JUNCTION OF BULLET BOULEVARD \n \n AND FLAT ROCK ROAD, TO THE ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNERS, JAMES J. KELLY AND \n \n GRACIELA R. KELLY, IN COLUMBUS, MUSCOGEE COUNT, GEORGIA. whereas, ordinance no. 00-100 deleted a section of Flat Rock Road from the official \n \n street map for a widening project; and,
whereas, the City previously deleted the eastern 30 feet of the deleted roadbed and \n \n transferred to the adjacent property owner(s); and,
WHEREAS, the property will be transferred by Quit Claim to the adjacent \n \n property owner(s); and, \n \n WHEREAS, all existing utility easements of record known and unknown will be \n \n reserved.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a Quit Claim Deed to \n \n James J. Kelly and Graciela R. Kelly, the adjacent property owner(s), for the \n \n western one-half (1/2) abandoned road bed at the junction of Bullet Boulevard \n \n and Flat Rock Road, in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia.
