A Resolution Authorizing AN UPDATE OF THE COLUMBUS DEPARTMENT OF FIRE AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES \n \n STRATEGIC PLAN AND STANDARDS OF COVER. whereas, Columbus Fire and Emergency Medical Services requests council approval of \n \n update to the departments strategic plan and standards of cover; and,
whereas, Columbus Fire and Emergency Medical Services strategic plan is the document \n \n used to communicate with the organization the organizations goals, the actions \n \n needed to achieve those goals and all of the other critical elements developed \n \n during the planning exercise; and,
WHEREAS, Columbus Fire and Emergency Medical Services will utilize standards of \n \n coverage performance that will consider any future facilities decisions; and, \n \n \n \n WHEREAS, Columbus Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services will \n \n consider the performance measurements \n \n of existing resources in the decision process; and, \n \n \n \n WHEREAS, Columbus Fire and Emergency Medical Services has combined the \n \n Strategic Plan and Standards of Coverage \n \n documents and utilize them to assist in the determination of future resources \n \n for the department.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Effective ____________ the attached document is adopted for Columbus Department \n \n of Fire and Emergency Medical Services.
