A Resolution Authorizing THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO THAT PORTION OF GLEN VALLEY DRIVE AND THAT PORTION \n \n OF GARRETT LAKE DRIVE LOCATED IN ORCHARD PHASE NINE, GARRETT CREEK ON BEHALF OF \n \n COLUMBUS, GEORGIA. whereas, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed conveying that portion of Glen \n \n Valley Drive and that portion of Garrett Lake Drive located in Orchard Phase \n \n Nine, Garrett Creek, a full description of said property shown on said deed; \n \n and,
whereas, said streets has been improved and meets the required specifications for \n \n acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has inspected said streets and recommends \n \n acceptance of same.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to issue certain deed dated \n \n the 31st day of January, 2006, conveying to Columbus, Georgia, that portion of \n \n that portion of Glen Valley Drive and that portion of Garrett Lake Drive \n \n located in Orchard Phase Nine, Garrett Creek, be and the same is hereby \n \n accepted. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized to have said deed recorded \n \n in the Office of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Columbus, Georgia. A \n \n copy of said deed is hereto attached and by this reference made a part of this \n \n resolution.
