A Resolution Authorizing TO ENTER INTO CITY RIGHT OF WAY AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION \n \n FOR A COUNTY CONTRACT FOR GATEWAY LANDSCAPING. whereas, the Department of Transportation (DOT) will assist the City of Columbus, \n \n Georgia, a Consolidated City/County Government, in a County Contract to \n \n Landscape 0.66 miles of the North By-Pass (Hwy 80/22) from Chattahoochee River \n \n to River Road, Project State Aid No. PRC10-S009-00(491); and,
whereas, the project will extend wholly within the corporate limits of Columbus, \n \n Georgia, under the laws of the State of Georgia.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a City Right of Way \n \n Agreement and subsequent agreements necessary to implement the project with the \n \n Department of Transportation (DOT) for a County Contract to Landscape 0.66 \n \n miles of the North By-Pass (Hwy 80/22) from Chattahoochee River to River Road, \n \n Project State Aid No.PRC10-S009-00(491), Muscogee County.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the _________ day of _____________ 2007 and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of  _____________ members of said Council.
