A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR THE DESIGN OF \n \n TRAILHEADS AND THE REDESIGN OF A FORMER RAILROAD BRIDGE ON THE PROPOSED SOUTH \n \n COLUMBUS MULTI-USE TRAIL whereas, the city proposes to develop the South Columbus Multi-Use Trail under the \n \n Transportation Improvement Act of 2012; and,
whereas, the multi-use trail project proposes to construct two (2) trailheads and to \n \n redesign and construct the former railroad bridge near Ablion Way;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a supplemental \n \n agreement with Heath Lineback Engineers and its subcontractors for the purpose \n \n of providing the necessary architectural design work for the proposed \n \n trailheads and for the redesign work needed for the former railroad bridge. \n \n The cost for this design work is $79,000 and is be entirely paid for under the \n \n TIA budget for this project..
