A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE COORDINATING \n \n COUNCIL FOR A GRANT TO FUND THE MUSCOGEE COUNTY JUVENILE DRUG COURT AND IF \n \n AWARDED, AMEND THE MULTI-GOVERNMENTAL FUND BY THE AMOUNT OF THE GRANT AWARD. \n \n THERE IS A 10% CASH MATCH REQUIREMENT AND THE GRANT PERIOD IS FROM JULY 1, 2014 \n \n TO JUNE 30, 2015.____________ whereas, funds have been made available from the Criminal justice Coordinating Council \n \n for the Juvenile Drug Court from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015; \n \n and,_______________
whereas, the funds are being made available to provide support for the operation of the \n \n Muscogee County Juvenile Drug Court; and,___________
WHEREAS, the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council requires a 10% cash match \n \n which has already been met with the funding of a juvenile drug court employee.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to submit an application for a grant \n \n to the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to fund the Muscogee County \n \n Juvenile Drug Court and if awarded accept a grant for the period of July 1, \n \n 2014 to June 30, 2015, with a 10% local match requirement and to amend the \n \n Multi-Govermental Fund by the amount of the grant award.______________
