A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE COORDINATING \n \n COUNCIL FOR A GRANT TO FUND THE MUSCOGEE COUNTY JUVENILE DRUG COURT AND IF \n \n AWARDED, AMEND THE MULTI-GOVERNMENTAL FUND BY THE AMOUNT OF THE GRANT AWARD. \n \n THERE IS NO LOCAL MATCH REQUIREMENT AND THE GRANT PERIOD IS JULY 1, 2013 TO \n \n JUNE 30, 2014. whereas, funds have been made available from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council \n \n for the Juvenile Drug Court from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014; and,
whereas, the funds are being made available to provide support for the operation of the \n \n Muscogee County Juvenile Drug Court; and,
WHEREAS, the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council does not require a local \n \n match.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to submit an application for a grant \n \n to the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to fund the Muscogee County \n \n Juvenile Drug Court and if awarded accept a grant for the period of July 1, \n \n 2013 to June 30, 2014, with no local match requirement and to amend the \n \n Mulit-Governmental Fund by the amount of the grant award.
