A Resolution Authorizing THE EXECUTION OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO OWNER OF 4827 11TH AVENUE A/K/A TAX MAP \n \n 032 017 005 FOR 50 FT. X 7.5 FEET OF AN UNOPENED 15 FT ALLEY LOCATED ALONG THE \n \n WESTERN (REAR) OF SAID PROPERTY IN COLUMBUS, MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GEORGIA. whereas, the City owns a 15-foot unopened alley that runs across the western rear of the \n \n property listed above; and,
whereas, the City has no present or future use for the said portion of the alley; and,
WHEREAS, The owner of 4827 11th Avenue wishes to include said alley portion \n \n with their adjoining property; and, \n \n WHEREAS, all public utilities have sent written confirmation stating they have \n \n no use for this alley.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to abandon a 50 ft. X 7.5 ft. alley \n \n located along the rear 4827 11th Avenue a/k/a Tax Map 032 017 005 and to \n \n execute a Quit Claim Deed for said property. A copy of the Quit Claim Deed is \n \n also hereto attached and by reference made a part of this Resolution.
