A Resolution Authorizing THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO LEANING PINE COURT, THAT PORTION OF SOUTHLAKE DRIVE \n \n AND THAT PORTION OF GARRETT PINES DRIVE LOCATED IN SECTION FIVE, GARRETT PINES \n \n ON BEHALF OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA. whereas, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed conveying Leaning Pine Court, that \n \n portion of Southlake Drive and that portion of Garrett Pines Drive located in \n \n Section Five, Garrett Pines, a full description of said property shown on said \n \n deed; and,
whereas, said streets have been improved and meet the required specifications for \n \n acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has inspected said streets and recommends \n \n acceptance of same.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to issue certain deed dated \n \n the 7th day of March, 2006, conveying to Columbus, Georgia Leaning Pine Court, \n \n that portion of Southlake Drive and that portion of Garrett Pines Drive located \n \n in Section Five, Garrett Pines, be and the same is hereby accepted. The Clerk \n \n of Council is hereby authorized to have said deed recorded in the Office of the \n \n Superior Court of Muscogee County, Columbus, Georgia. A copy of said deed is \n \n hereto attached and by this reference made a part of this resolution.
