A Resolution Authorizing THE ABANDONMENT OF THE SANITARY SEWER, DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED AT \n \n THE WESTERLY PROPERTY LINE OF 6836 MOBLEY ROAD, LOT 3-B AS SHOWN ON REPLAT OF \n \n LOT 3, REPLAT OF PROPERTY OF ROBERT M. SMITH, TO MR. STEPHEN R. CAPERS. whereas, all public utilities have sent written confirmation relinquishing their rights \n \n to the sanitary sewer, drainage and utility easement as marked on Attachment A, \n \n and as described in the Quit Claim Deed, and;
whereas, Columbus, Georgia, has no other use for aforementioned easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to abandon the sanitary \n \n sewer, drainage and utility easement as marked on Attachment A, and as \n \n described in the Quit Claim Deed, located at the westerly property line of 6836 \n \n Mobley Road, Lot 3-B as shown on a plat prepared by Moon, Meeks, Mason and \n \n Vinson, titled Replat of Lot 3, Replat of Property of Robert M. Smith, Lying in \n \n Land Lot 63, 8th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, Dated May 1, \n \n 1996, and recorded in Plat Book 131, Folio 16 in the Office of the Clerk of \n \n Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, be relinquished to Mr. Stephen R. \n \n Capers.
