A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO QUIT CLAIM THE CITY'S INTEREST IN THE STREET SEGMENTS AND \n \n RIGHTS-OF-WAY OF ZENOS DRIVE FROM THE NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF DIRK WAY NORTH \n \n TO THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF BUENA VISTA ROAD; DIRK WAY FROM A POINT \n \n 200.3 FEET EAST OF THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF WINALL DRIVE EAST A DISTANCE \n \n OF 459.8 FEET; UPLAND WAY FROM A POINT 200.0 FEET EAST OF THE EAST \n \n RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF WINALL DRIVE EAST A DISTANCE OF 460.0 FEET, TO TIGER CREEK \n \n DEVELOPMENT. whereas, Tiger Creek Development is developing a new subdivision along properties that \n \n adjoin street segments of Zenos Drive, Dirk Way and Upland Way; and,
whereas, the new subdivision layout does not coincide with the proposed street \n \n developments; and,
WHEREAS, the City supports the new development and recommends approval of the \n \n Quit Claim; and, \n \n WHEREAS, Tiger Creek Development will deed the new streets of this development \n \n to the City at the time of completion.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to Quit Claim said property \n \n to Tiger Creek Development in order to construct Pinewood Subdivision, which at \n \n time of completion, the new streets and rights-of-way will be deeded to the \n \n City.
