A Resolution Authorizing THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A LOCAL GOVERNMENT PROJECT AGREEMENT WITH THE D.O.T. FOR \n \n THE ATMS/SIGNAL/CCTV/FIBER, PROJECT# NH-00TS (47), MUSCOGEE COUNTY, P.I.# \n \n 323000 AND ATMS/GDOT REGIONAL TCC, PROJECT# NH-00TS (48), MUSCOGEE COUNTY, \n \n P.I.# 3233005. whereas, the Georgia D.O.T. has proposed to place in their construction work program for \n \n a Intelligent Transportation System as referenced above; and,
whereas, Columbus, Georgia will acquire property and relocate utilities while the D.O.T. \n \n will be responsible for paying for design and construction for said project; \n \n and,
WHEREAS, budget project projections indicate funds are available under the \n \n "CIP" Paving Fund; and, \n \n WHEREAS, the City Manager and staff recommend that Council authorize the \n \n execution of the agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Local Government Project \n \n Agreement with the D.O.T. for the ATMS/Signal/CCTV/Fiber, Project# NH-00TS \n \n (47), Muscogee County,P.I.# 323000 and ATMS/GDOT Regional TCC,Project # NH-00TS \n \n (48), Muscogee County, P.I.# 323005 and all subsequent agreements to accomplish \n \n said project.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the _________ day of _____________ and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of _____________ members of said Council.
