A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR, AND IF AWARDED, ACCEPT A GRANT FROM THE \n \n CORPORATION FOR NATIONAL & COMMUNITY SERVICE IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,000.00 FOR THE \n \n RSVP GRANT. \n \n whereas, The Corporation for National & Community Service (CNCS) recently announced a \n \n one-time augmentation grant for RSVP grantees, \n \n
whereas, The Corporation for National & Community Service (CNCS) administers the RSVP \n \n grant that is already awarded to the city of Columbus, \n \n \n \n WHEREAS, Once accepted, augmentation funds are available through the \n \n end of the 3-year grant, \n \n \n \n WHEREAS, Augmentation funding is primary to support RSVP grantees to \n \n participate in training and technical assistance opportunities, \n \n \n \n WHEREAS, One-time augmentation of $3,000.00 grants are being made \n \n available for RSVP grantees,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
_That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to submit an \n \n application and if approved, accept funds from Corporation for National & \n \n Community Service (CNCS) in the amount of $3,000.00 to aid in training and the \n \n technical support for RSVP programming.
