A Resolution Authorizing CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT THE ADA TRANSITION PLAN TO THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF \n \n TRANSPORTATION, whereas, public entities with 50 or more employees are required under Federal and State \n \n mandates to develop ADA Transition Plans when structural changes are required \n \n to existing facilities in order to make a program, service or activity \n \n accessible to people with disabilities,
whereas, the Georgia Department of Transportation has requested the City submit a copy \n \n of the current ADA Transition Plan,
WHEREAS, after review of all City facilities, the City staff has prepared a \n \n ADA Transition Plan for submittal,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to submit current ADA \n \n Transition Plan to the Georgia Department of Transportation,
