A Resolution Authorizing Columbus Parks and Recreation to accept donations in the form of gift \n \n certificates, check, cash and/or labor from sponsors and individuals for the \n \n purpose of building and maintaining a community garden at Gallops Senior Center \n \n to be known as the Garden of Giving. whereas, citizens have expressed a desire to have a Community Garden located at Gallops \n \n Senior Center; and
whereas, several companies and individuals have expressed an interest in donating time \n \n and/or services to this garden; and \n \n \n \n WHEREAS, Columbus Parks and Recreation provides a site, staff, and \n \n administration of each programs. The donations of money and supplies are \n \n provided by sponsors and individuals.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Columbus Parks and Recreation is authorized to accept donations in the form of \n \n gift certificates, check, cash and/or labor from sponsors and individuals for \n \n the purpose of building and maintaining a community garden at Gallops Senior \n \n Center. 100% of the donations will be used for the Community Garden at Gallops \n \n Senior Center. \n \n
