A Resolution Authorizing THE TRANSFER OF A CLOSED AND FILLED SWIMMING POOL CONSISTING OF 0.16 ACRES +/- \n \n ON 43RD STREET TO COLUMBUS TECHNICAL COLLEGE, IN COLUMBUS, MUSCOGEE COUNTY, \n \n GEORGIA. whereas, in 2000 the City closed and filled the 43rd Street swimming pool consisting of \n \n a 0.16 +/- acre area; and,
whereas, the above described property will be transferred to the Columbus Technical \n \n College another government entity, to be used as a parking lot; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Consolidated Government of Columbus, \n \n Georgia to transfer the closed swimming pool.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to transfer by Quit Claim all rights \n \n the City may have in the swimming pool property on 43rd Street, consisting of \n \n 0.16 +/- acres, to Columbus Technical College, and file the Quit Claim Deed \n \n with the Clerk of Superior Court for permanent record.
