A Resolution Authorizing THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO THAT PORTION OF AFLAC PARKWAY FROM NOTED LINE L45 & \n \n L46 RUNNING NORTH TO CARGO DRIVE AS SHOWN ON PLAT RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 143 \n \n PAGE 85, LOCATED IN CORPORATE RIDGE INDUSTRIAL PARK ON BEHALF OF COLUMBUS \n \n GEORGIA. whereas, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed to that portion of AFLAC Parkway \n \n from noted Line L45 & L46 running north to Cargo Drive, located in Corporate \n \n Ridge Industrial Park, description of said property being shown in said deed; \n \n and,
whereas, said street has been improved and meets the required specifications for \n \n acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of Columbus, Georgia has inspected said \n \n street and recommends acceptance of same.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That certain deed dated July 31, 2012, conveying to Columbus, Georgia, AFLAC \n \n Parkway from noted line L45 & L46 running north to Cargo Drive as shown on \n \n entitled "Replat of Lots 16A, 16B & 16C, Lying within Land Lots 39, 40, 41, 57 \n \n and 58, 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia," prepared by Jordan, \n \n Jones & Goulding, Inc., dated March 20, 2001, be and the same is hereby \n \n accepted. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized to have said deed recorded \n \n in the Deed Records in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of \n \n Muscogee County, Georgia. A copy of deed is hereto attached and by this \n \n reference made a part of this resolution.
