A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND \n \n KEMIRA CHEMICALS, INC. FOR A 20 FT. SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT ON CANAL STREET AND \n \n OTHER ADJOINING PROPERTIES FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF EXISTING SANITARY SEWER \n \n FACILITIES. whereas, Kemira Chemicals, Inc. has existing sanitary sewer facilities that cross Canal \n \n Street and other properties adjacent to Bull Creek,
whereas, Kemira Chemicals, Inc. desires a permanent easement be established for repair, \n \n replacement and maintenance of said facilities,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into agreement with \n \n Kemira Chemicals, Inc. along with the Development Authority of Columbus, \n \n Georgia to convey a 20 ft wide and 196.88 ft long sanitary sewer easement \n \n across Canal Street and other properties along Bull Creek as Part of Columbus \n \n East Industrial Park lying in Land Lot 58, 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee \n \n County, GA as shown on easement plat prepared by Moon, Meeks, Mason & Vinson, \n \n Inc. and dated September 6, 2013 and attached hereto and made part of the \n \n easement agreement and as part of this resolution..
