A Resolution Authorizing THE MAYOR TO MAKE APPLICATION AND RECEIVE THE FY 2019 LOCAL MAINTENANCE & \n \n IMPROVEMENT GRANT (LMIG) FROM THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (GDOT). whereas, the City has received notice from GDOT they are accepting applications for the \n \n FY 2019 LMIG Program in the amount of $2,073,215.96 allocated for \n \n Columbus-Muscogee County; and,
whereas, the proposed use of the funds is for the construction of the Ft. Benning Road \n \n Roundabout and Street Scapes projects; and,
WHEREAS, the match for these funds will come from the existing project budgets.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to make application and receive \n \n funds allocated for the FY 2019 Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) \n \n from the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).
