A Resolution Authorizing SUBMITTAL OF THE APPLICATION FOR 2013 FAIR HOUSING ORGANIZATION INITIATIVE \n \n GRANT TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENTAND AUTHORIZING \n \n THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL RELEVANT DOCUMENTS. whereas, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has issued a Notice of \n \n Funding Availability for the 2013 Fair Housing Organization Initiative Grant, \n \n and,
whereas, the City of Columbus is an eligible applicant identifying a need for the grant
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to submit an application and \n \n if approved, accept the 2013 Fair Housing Organization Initiative Grant of up \n \n to $325,000 and authorize execution all relevant documents.
