A Resolution Authorizing A VARIANCE TO SECTION 7.9.2.B OF THE CITY CODE FOR LIMITED RESIDENTIAL ACCESS \n \n ALONG GARRETT ROAD, COLLECTOR, FOR GARRETT CREEK ADDITION PHASE 3. whereas, Section 7.9.2. B prohibits residential lots from having direct driveway access \n \n to a collector or arterial street unless approved by Council,
whereas, the property developer submitted a site plan for development of 25 lots in \n \n Garrett Creek Addition Phase 3 that are positioned between lots in Garrett \n \n Creek and Garrett Road,
WHEREAS, the developer is proposing to limit the number of driveways to 10 \n \n through the use of joint use driveways, \n \n WHEREAS, the Department of Engineering has reviewed the request and recommends \n \n that a variance be granted,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

that Garrett Creek Addition Phase 3 is hereby, granted a variance to the City \n \n Code 7.9.2.B. to allow limited residential driveway access along Garrett Road .
