A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A LOCAL GOVERNMENTAL LIGHTING PROJECT AGREEMENT \n \n WITH THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE WYNNTON ROAD STREETSCAPES \n \n PROJECT whereas, the city will enhance the section of Wynnton Road, from Brown Avenue to 13th \n \n Street, under a Transporation Enhancement grant from the Georgia Department of \n \n Transportation; and,
whereas, the streetscape improvements will provide for new lighting, that will require \n \n the city to be responsible for the energy, operation and maintenance of this \n \n lighting system;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a Local Government \n \n Lighting Project Agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation for \n \n purpose of providing the energy, operation and maintenance of the lighting \n \n system to be installed under the Wynnton Road Streetscape project.
