A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF \n \n TRANSPORTATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF RESTROOMS ON THE RIVERWALK whereas, the City has expressed a need to construct restrooms on the riverwalk under the \n \n Martin Memorial Bridge using Georgia Department of Transportation High Priority \n \n Project (HPP) funds; and,
whereas, the cost of construction for these restrooms will be $243,861.00, with \n \n $195,088.80 being paid with the HPP funds and the remaining $48,772.20 by paid \n \n by the city as its match for this grant;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the \n \n Georgia Department of Transportation to accept HPP funding for the construction \n \n of restrooms on the riverwalk to be located under the Martin Memorial Bridge.
