A Resolution Authorizing THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CERTIFICATE OF OWNERSHIP AND AGREEMENT WITH THE GEORGIA \n \n DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE 2006/2007 L.A.R.P. PROGRAM FOR NINETY-SIX \n \n (96) STREETS TOTALING 23.544 MILES, PROJECT NUMBERS LAU06-S009-00(75), (076), \n \n (077) AND PRC10-S009-00(270), (271), (272), MUSCOGEE. whereas, the Georgia Department of Transportation has offered an annual L.A.R.P. \n \n contract for patching and resurfacing for the above mentioned projects; and,
whereas, the candidate streets that were not chosen by the D.O.T will be added to the \n \n awarded contract as a supplement and be done during the L.A.R.P. contract; and, \n \n WHEREAS, these projects will be funded from the Paving Fund Supported Capital \n \n Improvement Projects and CBA Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 2003A; and,
WHEREAS, it is recommended that Council authorize the Mayor to execute the \n \n Certificate of Ownership and Agreements with the Georgia Department of \n \n Transportation.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a certificate of ownership and \n \n agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation for the 2006/2007 \n \n L.A.R.P. Program for ninety-six (96) Streets totaling 23.544 miles, Project \n \n numbers: LAU06-S009-00(75), (076), (077) and PRC10-S009-00(270), (271), (272), \n \n Muscogee.
