A Resolution Authorizing TO ENTER INTO A CITY RIGHT OF WAY AGREEMENT WITH THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF \n \n TRANSPORTATION FOR A COUNTY CONTRACT FOR 0.18 MILE OF NEW ROAD OFF OF \n \n CHATTSWORTH ROAD. whereas, the Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) will assist the City of \n \n Columbus, Georgia, a Consolidated City/County Government, in a County Contract \n \n to construct 0.18 mile of new road off of Chattsworth Road, Project No. \n \n PRC10-S009-00(796) Muscogee; and,
whereas, the project will extend wholly within the corporate limits of Columbus, \n \n Georgia, under the laws of the State of Georgia.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a City Right of Way \n \n Agreement and subsequent agreements necessary to implement the project with the \n \n Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) for a County Contract to construct \n \n 0.18 mile of new road (identified as FedEx Road)off of Chattsworth Road, \n \n Project No. PRC10-S009(796), Muscogee County.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the _________ day of _____________ 2007 and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of  _____________ members of said Council.
