whereas, _The improvements include an ASTRO 25 Master Switch, commonly referred to as a \n \n P25 Switch, which enables data transmissions for the high speed mobile data \n \n system utilizes by public safety personnel and;__________
WHEREAS, It is necessary to provide for routine maintenance, system monitoring, \n \n and repair of this critical infrastructure by the sole source vendor Motorola \n \n Solutions.____________
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
__THE CITY MANAGER IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED TO ENTER INTO AN ANNUAL MAINTENANCE \n \n SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH MOTOTOLA SOLUTIONS FOR MAINTENANCE ON THE CITY'S 800 \n \n MHZ ASTRO 25 MASTER SITE IN THE AMOUNT OF $63,984.____________
