A Resolution Authorizing TO DECLARE 5824 MOON ROAD A/K/A 083-004-001 AND 5816 MOON ROAD A/K/A \n \n 082-055-002 AS SURPLUS AND TO TRANSFER SAID PROPERTIES AT APPRAISED VALUE TO \n \n THE AIRPORT AUTHORITY IN COLUMBUS, MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GEORGIA. whereas, the properties are remnant from an old road widening project adjacent to the \n \n Airport property; and,
whereas, the properties are appropriately suited for development and use by the Airport \n \n Authority; and, \n \n WHEREAS, the Columbus Consolidated Government has no current or future use of \n \n plans for said properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to: \n \n 1. Declare said properties described above as surplus. \n \n 2. Authorize the transfer by Quit Claim of said properties to the \n \n Airport Authority. \n \n 3. Transfer said properties at the appraised value. \n \n 4. Authorize the filing of the Quit Claim Deed, with the Superior Court \n \n Clerk for permanent record.
