A Resolution Authorizing THE EXECUTION OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO OWNER OF 1006 49TH STREET A/K/A TAX MAP \n \n 032 017 008 AND 4816 INGRAM AVENUE A/K/A TAX MAP 032 017 009 FOR 100 FT. X 7.5 \n \n FEET OF AN UNOPENED 15 FT ALLEY LOCATED ALONG THE EASTERN (REAR) OF SAID \n \n PROPERTIES IN COLUMBUS, MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GEORGIA. whereas, the City owns a 15-foot unopened alley that runs across the eastern rear of the \n \n properties listed above; and,
whereas, the City has no present or future use for the said portions of the alley; and,
WHEREAS, The owner of 1006 49th Street and 4816 Ingram Avenue wishes to include \n \n said alley portions with his adjoining properties; and, \n \n WHEREAS, all public utilities have sent written confirmation stating they have \n \n no use for this alley.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to abandon a 100 ft. X 7.5 ft. alley \n \n located along the rear 1006 49th St a/k/a Tax Map 032 017 008 and 4816 Ingram \n \n Ave a/k/a Tax Map 032 017 009 and to execute a Quit Claim Deed for said \n \n properties. A copy of the Quit Claim Deed is also hereto attached and by \n \n reference made a part of this Resolution.
