A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO TO ENTER INTO A FACILITY SITE LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH \n \n TRIMBLE NAVIGATION LIMITED FOR INSTALLATION AND OPERATION OF A GLOBAL \n \n NAVIGATION SATELLITE SYSTEM FOR A FIVE YEAR PERIOD. whereas, the City of Columbus is currently utilizing GPS units for data collection of \n \n information for inclusion into the Geographical Information System (GIS),
whereas, installation and utilization of the GNSS will improve the accuracy of the data \n \n that is being collected,

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the Facility Site \n \n License Agreement with Trimble Navigation Limited for installation and \n \n operation of a Global Navigation Satellite System for a five year period.
