A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO MIKE \n \n MASSEY FOR A PORTION OF THE EXISTING DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT AS SHOWN \n \n LOCATED AT 1008 EDEN STREET ON THE PLAT ENTITLED LOT 39, BLOCK "P" MEADOW RUN \n \n SUBDIVISION. whereas, a three (3) foot wide section along the northern edge of the existing ten (10) \n \n foot drainage and utility easement of Lot 39, Block "P" Meadow Run Subdivision \n \n (1008 Eden Street) was requested to be abandon in order to construct a 18' by \n \n 30' metal structure on a concrete slab.
whereas, the aforementioned portion of the existing drainage and utility easement is no \n \n longer in use and has been formally abandoned by all parties concerned; and,
WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia has no other use for the aforementioned portion of \n \n the drainage and utility easement. The remainders of all drainage and utility \n \n easements of record remain in effect and providing appropriate width as \n \n required by the applicable utility companies will be required for unknown \n \n utilities, repealing any conflicting ordinances, and for other purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That, the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a quit claim \n \n deed to Mike Massey for a three (3) foot wide section along the northern edge \n \n of the existing ten (10) foot drainage and utility easement of Lot 39, Block \n \n "P" Meadow Run Subdivision (1008 Eden Street).
