A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH HEATH AND LINEBACK \n \n ENGINEERS, INC TO COMPLETE FINAL PLANS AND CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOR A \n \n MULTI-USE TRAIL ALONG FORT BENNING ROAD whereas, the city is working to implement a streetscape project along Fort Benning Road, \n \n from Shelby Street to Wade Street; and,
whereas, it has been determined that a 12 foot wide multi-use trail along this segment \n \n of roadway is needed to safely accommodate bicyclist, joggers, and pedestrians \n \n alike; and,
WHEREAS, a supplemental agreement to prepare the necessary engineering for this \n \n project is required,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a supplemental agreement \n \n with Heath and Lineback Engineers, Inc. for the purpose of providing a scope of \n \n work and fee to complete final plans and construction documents for a 12 foot \n \n wide multi-use trail along Fort Benning Road, from Shelby Street to Wade \n \n Street. The cost of the supplemental agreement shall not exceed $150,000.
