A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COLUMBUS WATER WORKS FOR \n \n NEEDED UTILITY RELOCATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FOLLOW ME TRAIL BRIDGE \n \n ACROSS VICTORY DRIVE. whereas, the city is currently constructing the "Follow Me Trail", formerly known as \n \n the South Lumpkin Multi-Use Facility, under the 2012 Transportation Investment \n \n Act; and,
whereas, the trail will require the construction of a bridge to allow users to safely \n \n cross over Victory Drive and require the relocation of certain utilities near \n \n this structure.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the \n \n Columbus Water Works for relocation of certain utilities as associated with \n \n this project, at a cost not to exceed $81,000.
