A Resolution Authorizing THE PURCHASE OF A PORTION OF TAX MAP NUMBER 148-001-013, LOCATED ON MCKEE ROAD, \n \n IN ORDER TO GAIN OWNERSHIP ACCESS TO THE CITY'S RADIO TOWER. whereas, the City owns a radio tower off of McKee Road that is currently located \n \n adajcent this property and to which access is granted through an easement; and,
whereas, Columbus Bank and Trust has agreed to sell the property shown to the City for \n \n the purpose of gaining ownership access to the radio tower; and,
WHEREAS, the City will gain approximatley $10,000 per year in reveunue through \n \n cellular tower lease agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
The City Manager is authorized to acquire the property located adjacent to the \n \n City's radio tower on McKee Road from Columbus Bank and Trust. The acquisition \n \n price is $10,000. The funding source is General Fund CIP, Property \n \n Acquisition.
