A Resolution Authorizing THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A RIGHT OF WAY AGREEMENT WITH THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF \n \n TRANSPORTATION. whereas, the Department of Transportation will assist the City of Columbus, Georgia, a \n \n Consolidated City/County Government, in a County Contract to re-surface various \n \n parking lots (attached) for the Muscogee County School District, State Aid \n \n Project PRC10-S009-00(575) Muscogee County; and,
whereas, the project will extend wholly in the limits of Columbus, Georgia; and,
WHEREAS, the Muscogee County School District will reimburse the City for its \n \n portion that the Georgia DOT does not pay.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a City Right of Way \n \n Agreement and subsequent agreements necessary to implement the project with the \n \n Department of Transportation (DOT) for a County Contract to re-surface parking \n \n lot at Various School Sites (attached), State Aid Project PRC10-S009-00(575), \n \n Muscogee County.
