A Resolution Authorizing THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NUMBER 2 WITH THE GEORGIA \n \n DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO ADJUST THE BUDGET FOR THE TRANSPORTATION \n \n IMPROVEMENT ACT PROJECT U.S. 27/CUSTER ROAD INTERCHANGE \n \n RECONSTRUCTION/MODIFICATION whereas, the U.S. 27/Custer Road Interchange Reconstruction/Modification is a \n \n $20,000,000 Transportation Improvement Act project that was approved by the \n \n voters on July 30, 2012;
whereas, a supplemental agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation is \n \n needed to allow for an adjustment of funds for engineering of the project; and,
WHEREAS, the adjustment of these funds will not effect the total budget for \n \n this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into Supplemental \n \n Agreement Number 2 with the Georgia Department of Transportation to adjust the \n \n budget for this project to provide the necessary funding for engineering \n \n consulting services.
