Additional Information:

This Text Amendment would allow for Club or Lodge, Not for Profit, in all

residential zones as a Special Exception Use. Many organizations, such as

existing Boys and Girls Clubs and Girls Inc, are located in or near residential

areas, which gives them direct access to their clientele. This Text Amendment

would also allow for the Boys and Girls Club (currently located at 1429 Morris

Road) to purchase the old Edgewood Elementary School (adaptive reuse) and

operate said Club at the school location with the approval of a Special

Exception (EXCP-12-18-2246).
